marketing-analytics.ai Is Live
Today, September 23, 2026, we're launching marketing-analytics.ai, the companion website for Marketing Analytics: Based on First Principles. The site brings together everything that goes along with the book in one place, both for students working through the material and for instructors teaching with it.
For students and readers, the Chapters section covers all 17 chapters, organized around the book's four First Principles of Marketing: all customers differ, all customers change, all competitors react, and all resources are limited. For every chapter with a hands-on example, you'll find the datasets, R scripts, and Tableau workbooks behind the analysis, along with video walkthroughs that show each example step by step. If you'd rather work through everything on your own computer, you can also download all of the examples and data at once.
For instructors, the Instructor Portal includes the instructor manual, sample undergraduate and MBA syllabi, and class slides for every chapter. It also includes teaching materials for five cases used with the book: Segmentation at Sticks Kebob Shop, Carvana – IsBadBuy?, Portland Trail Blazers, Base Price Analysis for grocery store detergent, and Have Text, Will Travel (Airbnb). Each case comes with its data, analysis files in R or Tableau, a case assignment, and in-class slides. The case narratives for the Darden cases are available separately from Darden Business Publishing, and the test bank is available directly from Bloomsbury.
The Instructor Portal is password-protected so that solutions and teaching notes stay with verified instructors. If you're teaching with the book and would like access, email me at jap57@psu.edu and I'll send you the access details.
This is just the beginning. We'll be adding more to the site over time, so check back soon for updates.
